Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Bookkeeper and Back Office Support professional to ensure accurate recordkeeping and efficient office operations. This role require strong attention to detail, proficiency with Quickbooks Enterprise , and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Ideal candidates will will have experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll processing, and general bookkeeping, with some exposure to basic banking procedures.

Location: West Grove, PA Industry: Small Family-Run Landscaping Business Schedule: Part-Time, On-Site (20-25 hours per week)
Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Enter and code vendor bills; assist with weekly payment processing
- Accounts Receivable: Prepare and send customer invoices; record payments; maintain accurate aging reports
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll preparation, timesheet review, employee record updates, and payroll accuracy checks
- Maintain financial data and documentation within QuickBooks Enterprise
- Assist with bank deposits, transaction review, and other basic banking activities
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
- Prepare and update internal forms, logs, and operational documentation
- Support job costing, project tracking, and related administrative tasks
- Provide general back-office support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience, including AP/AR
- Experience supporting payroll processes
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Prior experience in a small-business or service-based environment preferred
- Banking experience (deposits, transaction review, or similar) preferred
Work Environment
- On-site role within a small, family-run landscaping business
- Collaborative, supportive environment with direct interaction with ownership and field operations
- Part-time schedule with some flexibility
