Description

Summary/Objective?

Flatter, Inc. (Flatter) is hiring an Intermediate Financial Analyst to provide lifecycle management and financial oversight for intra-governmental transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations across federal agencies. This role supports financial execution by maintaining data integrity, resolving system discrepancies, and advising stakeholders on federal financial processes and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Transaction Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the full lifecycle of intra-governmental agreements, including initiation, funding, execution, performance monitoring, and closeout.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor financial transactions to ensure proper execution, validate receipt and acceptance of goods and services, and reconcile outstanding obligations to maintain accurate and current financial records.
  • System and Data Integrity:
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve discrepancies within financial systems; perform routine reconciliations to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data across platforms.
  • Advisory and Compliance Support:
  • Provide guidance to staff and program managers on federal financial policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and improve transaction efficiency.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment and is On-site. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in federal financial management, resource management, or federal acquisition environments.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing platform required.
  • Familiarity with federal financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms).
  • Working knowledge of federal financial laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary & compensation


$90K–95K / year
