About the role

Albion Rye Associates is a leading global healthcare market research and insights organization seeking a Vice President – Client Services to lead new business acquisition across pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This role focuses on driving new revenue, building client relationships, and expanding market presence within life sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new client acquisition across pharma and biotech accounts
  • Sell full-service healthcare market research solutions
  • Build and maintain a strong enterprise-level pipeline
  • Open new relationships with senior decision-makers in insights, commercial, and strategy teams
  • Lead complex end-to-end sales cycles (prospecting → close)
  • Manage high-value proposals and commercial negotiations
  • Consistently achieve a $750K–$1M first-year revenue target
  • Convert opportunities into long-term strategic client partnerships
  • Represent the organisation in client meetings and industry engagements
  • Leverage and expand your network within pharma and biotech
  • Position full-service market research and insights capabilities

Skills

  • Must come from a healthcare market research consultancy background
  • Proven success in a pure hunter / new business sales role
  • Strong track record selling into pharma and biotech clients
  • Experience closing large, complex enterprise deals ($100K+ typical engagements)
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed revenue targets
  • Strong existing network within life sciences market research / insights teams
  • Highly commercial, driven, and comfortable in a performance-based environment
