Your Role at BetMGM As an Information Technology Auditor, you will report directly to the Manager of IT Audit, providing essential internal audits to ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory standards. You will follow established Internal Audit Policies aligned with the International Standards for Professional Practice set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). In this role, you will be a key player in designing and executing auditing responsibilities, collaborating with internal teams to fulfil our annual Internal Audit Plan. Building strong relationships across the organization, you will deliver insightful recommendations to enhance and simplify business processes. Your hands-on involvement will encompass all audit project phases from planning to execution, ensuring processes are relevant and adhered to corporate and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Internal Audit leadership in maintaining a compliant Internal Audit methodology, including policies, procedures, and governance structures.
  • Conduct IT audits and assessments as per the approved Annual Audit Plan, focusing on IT General Controls, Application Controls, Network Controls, and IT security-related Internal Controls.
  • Manage multiple audit assignments effectively, prioritizing tasks based on risk and feedback, ensuring completion within deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct audit risk assessments of IT processes and systems, developing robust audit programs that verify the adequacy of internal controls.
  • Gather information on IT policies and perform thorough assessments to confirm compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Prepare organized audit work papers that accurately document testing performed, including plans, notifications, source documentation, and control testing.
  • Analyze audit results to provide meaningful improvement recommendations that are practical and consider the organization's needs.
  • Draft clear audit reports detailing findings and suggesting process improvements, collaborating with management to create actionable plans.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process enhancement across different teams.
  • Complete audit assignments on time and take on additional responsibilities as prescribed by the Manager of IT Audit.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Company's operations.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in relevant IT and cybersecurity standards.
  • Keep your professional knowledge up-to-date through workshops, training, and industry publications.
  • Travel as necessary for auditing and training purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • CISA, CISSP, or CISM certifications are preferred, or a commitment to obtain appropriate professional certifications.
  • 1-5 years of experience in IT internal auditing or relevant IT audit industry experience is necessary.
  • Expertise in IT concepts including logical and physical security, network operations, and software development is essential.
  • Experience with risk-based IT audits and knowledge of governance frameworks like COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27000 is important.
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry is a plus.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with accountability for delivering quality outputs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, skilled in conveying ideas effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships while also providing constructive challenges to the business.

The annual salary range for this position is $62,000 to $90,000, depending on factors including location, qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses.
