Advertised Range: $55,000 - $61,800 Commensurate with experience/qualifications

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The University of Mary Washington has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Small Purchase Charge Card Program Administrator (SPCC-PA) and Procurement Analyst. This role primarily administers UMW's SPCC Program, by supporting Users and remaining in compliance with DOA requirements, and supporting the Procurement Services department in the creation and maintenance of educational materials and offerings, as well as serving in an analyst capacity for data management and reporting. Creates and issues a monthly newsletter, and serves as event coordinator for infrequently sponsored department events.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and associated applications
  • Strong attention to Detail
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and written
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to create developmental course materials for use in educational sessions
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to autonomously learn new software
  • Proficiency in creating and revising fillable and other types of Forms (Adobe Acrobat, gravity, equivalent)

Required Experience:

  • Purchase-Card program use and program management experience, particularly in Virginia
  • Experience in managing a payment card application instance for an entire entity
  • Experience with educating others in Public Procurement
  • Experience in web design and/or maintenance of a website
  • Demonstrated customer service experience

Required Education:

HS Diploma or GED or equivalent training and experience

Required Licensure:

None required; preference will be given to a Virginia Procurement or P-card certification or a national public procurement certification.

Additional Considerations:

  • VCA, VCO, CPPB, CUPO or other national Procurement certification preferred
  • Experience in the creation and management of courses within Canvas LMS.
  • Public Procurement knowledge and experience within Virginia and particularly for Restructured Higher Education.
  • Proficiency in use of various educational materials creation software such as ScreenPal, Guidejar or similar solutions.
  • Proficiency in using WordPress or similar website software to maintain and revise department’s website
  • Experience, proficiency in full management of a Bank of America Works p-card instance including set-up and account reconciliation, report creation, and relationship with Virginia’s Department of Accounts.
