Job Purpose

This position requires working onsite at the Reading, PA. Corporate office three days a week. The Financial Analyst II is responsible for various aspects of the monthly financial closing process, forecasting, analysis, and internal sales reporting. Through the analytical review of monthly transactional data, this position will be responsible for accurate reporting of the SBU’s rebate and commission programs as well as payments according to Sarbanes Oxley and Corporate Policies. The position also includes ad-hoc analysis, project management, as well as supporting the Americas Finance Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform the monthly closing process including reconciliation of sales and financial data and analysis.
  • Maintain databases of sales and expense information.
  • Preparation and distribution of the monthly sales reporting to the field.
  • Preparation of the rebate and commission weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as well as payment.
  • Perform predictive analytics for the Marketing and Sales Departments related to future rebate and commission programs.
  • Work directly with the business and IT on implementing new process and reporting in various programs such as Power BI and Sales Force.
  • Various ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Statistics
  • A minimum of 6 years in Financial or Business Analytics or Accounting
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Microsoft Access, and Power BI (or similar BI reporting tool)
  • Experience with monthly financial close process, process improvement and controls
  • Strong oral and written communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Exposure to SAP or Sales Force is a plus.
  • Experience in a service or manufacturing environment.
