RN – Compliance Specialist - Can be "remote" or "hybrid" (office/work from home)
Fundamental Administrative Services, LLC is searching for an experienced Registered Nurse to support client skilled nursing centers in multiple states.
Full-time benefits start on the first day of the month following your start date!
USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- The RN Compliance Specialist will assist in coordinating compliance audits, claim denial/appeal response, quality monitoring, education development, recognition initiatives and other compliance related outreach activities.
- Will develop compliance policies, serves as a resource for client skilled nursing entities and collaborates with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) services, Office of Inspector General (OIG) and other government organizations or contractors in any compliance audit or investigation.
- Performs other appropriate functions as may be requested.
- Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
Registered Nurse (RN) with unencumbered license to practice in State.
Must have 3-5 years of nursing experience with primary focus in long term care.
Must have 2+ years experience with Nursing Facility Minimum Data Set (MDS) management. Experience in auditing Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance claims preferred
Must be proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and related applications
Travel by air and automobile will be required to perform on site audits at client facilities (approximately 3-4 days per month)
