Accounts Receivable / Credit Specialist

About the Opportunity
LHH is working with a well-established and reputable manufacturing company in Moonachie, NJ in their search for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Credit Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is confident managing the full AR cycle and making informed credit decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and collections
  • Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past due accounts
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits
  • Review and release orders based on credit status
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
  • Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve account concerns
  • Prepare AR and credit reports for management
  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or credit analysis
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of credit policies and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
