About the role


The HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the People Operations team, managing the full employee lifecycle. This individual will balance high-volume recruitment efforts with traditional HR functions including benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

salary: $68,000 - $78,000 per year

Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Screening

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles within the property management and corporate sectors.
  • Proactively source and headhunt candidates through diverse channels to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and interviews to evaluate cultural fit and technical proficiency.
  • Oversee pre-employment contingencies, including background checks and drug screenings.

2. Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

  • Standardize and execute a seamless onboarding process to ensure high retention and engagement.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and serve as the primary point of contact for all first-week inquiries.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and documentation.

3. Benefits & Compensation Administration

  • Administer health, dental, vision, and retirement (401k) plans.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers to resolve complex claims or coverage issues.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment and the communication of total rewards packages.
  • Ensure data integrity within the HRIS to support accurate and timely payroll processing.

4. Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ensure all HR practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Handle employee relations issues with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready electronic personnel files.
