About the role
Looking for detail-oriented Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to work part-time (20-25 hours per week) to support our small business.
Duties will include but are not limited to monthly sales tax reporting, entering and checking vendor bills against purchase orders, bill payment, journal entries and general ledger reporting, preparing and analyzing monthly reports for the senior staff and accountants, credit card and bank reconciliations, preparing monthly commission and expense report statements, back up support of payroll, human resource and hiring, and other administrative tasks.
Prior bookkeeping experience is required. Candidates must have experience with general ledger entry/analysis, using Excel spreadsheets, and a desire to learn. Experience using STORIS and Paychex Flex software a plus, but not required.
