About the role


The Graphic Designer is responsible for translating our editorial content into compelling creative designs, journal-style each week. You will combine smart page layout, bold image choices to bring our content to life for our readers and immerse them. In addition, the designer will help brand our corporate events.The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the conceptualization, design and execution of creative projects while adhering to deadline schedules.Projects will include designing website graphics, page layout, advertisements, and email blasts and other design-oriented projects as needed.Adhere to deadlines and work closely with team to manage workload.Strong organization skills and ability to multitask.Knowing InDesign is a must.Working with WordPress to help maintain our website.Photography shoots (working independently or with lead photographer).Curating imagery and graphics that support key messaging across deliverable types to create examples of best in class designs and layouts which help to inspire good design and visual storytellingShare best practices and visual updates to help spark creativity and inform design guidelinesProviding creative support implementing the company’s visual aesthetic for uniform content, visual elements, and purpose, making them more impactful and engaging while conveying consistent messaging of the company’s brand, values, mission, and goalsJob RequirementsProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.2-3 years of experience.Your Work StyleYou get things doneExceptional typographic communication skills.Strong problem-solving skillsThrive in a fast-paced environmentPro at time management, balancing multiple projects and deadlinesComfortable working both autonomously and collaborativelyExcited at the prospect of working creatively with dataHigh level of personal accountabilityConstant hunger to learn and improveYou bring positive energy to the workplaceJob Type: Full-timePay: From $44,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Flexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Graphic design: 2 years (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
