About the role
A company is looking for a Logistics Analyst - Junior to manage the flow of goods from domestic vendors to distribution centers. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate inbound transportation from vendors to distribution centers using a Transportation Management System (TMS) Source and assign freight to carriers to optimize cost, routing, and transit times Monitor carrier capacity and performance metrics while collaborating with carriers and internal logistics teams Qualifications Experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain operations Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and financial data Knowledge of freight modes including Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and parcel Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
